Architectural Inventories and documentation
Historic resource surveys examine architectural styles and features, building materials, construction history, alterations, historical associations, and significance. Surveys include photographic documentation, form completion, map preparation, and completion of a final report analyzing and interpreting the data. Public meetings to confer with local citizens, discuss project goals, and present survey results are also a part of such projects.
Bunyak Research Associates has prepared historic resources survey reports for public and private owners of mining sites, neighborhood associations, city governments, and private individuals.

HABS/HAER projects produce detailed documentation of significant historic resources. The preparation of these reports includes historical research, complete archival quality photographic documentation, and a written narrative describing the architectural qualities of the resources and placing them in historical perspective. The documentation is edited, catalogued, and packaged according to exacting HABS/HAER specifications.
Historic Contexts and Other Historical Projects
Historic contexts are the themes, patterns, or trends that describe the significance of a property and define its historical meaning. Most historic resource surveys require historic context development as well. Such studies require historical research, analysis, and synthesis of research materials found in libraries and archival repositories.
